RAY DAVIES UK TOUR

Ray Davies| tonight plays the first of his winter UK tour dates at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.

This second leg of his UK tour follows the success of his appearances at the Grange Park Opera, Kenwood House and Glastonbury in June of this year. He has spent the intervening time entertaining audiences in Scandinavia and the USA.

The remaining performances are:

Saturday 12 December, Birmingham Symphony Hall
Monday 14 December, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
Tuesday 15 December, Manchester Bridgewater Hall
Saturday 19 December, HMV Hammersmith Apollo

Ray will be playing on the 12th and the 19th in the company of the Crouch End Festival Chorus, with whom he recorded The Kinks Choral Collection earlier this year. This new interpretation of a selection of Ray’s music included performances of the Kassner songs You Really Got Me YOU REALLY GOT ME by RAYMOND DAVIES|, See My Friends SEE MY FRIENDS by RAYMOND DAVIES| and All Day and All of the Night ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT by RAYMOND DAVIES|.

The Kinks Choral Collection| was released on 15 June on Decca Records.
